Please read it and become familiar with it, as by posting anywhere on the communities you agree to it. If a rule is broken you shall be warned and your post / options may be modified or removed, and your ip may be banned.

What are the rules for using FreeBuyFreeSell?
The following activities are prohibited from FreeBuyFreeSell.com:

* Bump your own thread
* Posting an Ad if it is not relevant
* Posting an item for sale that is
o not located in relevant forum
o is illegal to own, buy or sell in your area of residence
o is in the prohibited items list
* Posting duplicate Ads in multiple categories or multiple cities
* Posting Ads using multiple different email addresses
* Posting an Ad that serves no other purpose other than to send traffic to a web site
* Posting an Ad that defames anyone or contains "hate speech"
* Posting a multi-level marketing or other prohibited job
* Posting an Ad that contains adult content that is not in the personals section
* Posting personal Ads that include nudity, prostitution or other prohibited content
* Posting opinions, notices, and discussion topics not in the discussion forums
* Posting deliberately misleading information

Any Ads that do not comply with the FreeBuyFreeSell policy will be removed from using the site. Additionally, users that violate such policies will be blocked from using our site in the future.

The list below details what can't be posted on FreeBuyFreeSell.com:
  • Alcoholic Beverages
  • Baby Walkers
  • Blood, Bodily Fluids and Body Parts
  • Burglary Tools
  • Counterfeit currency, stamps or coins
  • Counterfeit Products
  • Electronic Surveillance Equipment designed or used primarily to illegally intercept/record the private actions or interactions of others without their knowledge or permission
  • Embargoed Goods
  • Escort or accompanying services
  • Government and Transit Uniforms, IDs and Licenses
  • Illegal Drugs & Drug Paraphernalia
  • Illegal Services
  • Hazardous Materials
  • Fireworks, Destructive Devices and Explosives
  • Identity Documents, Personal Financial Records & Personal Information (in any form, including mailing lists)
  • Items which encourage or facilitate illegal activity (such as mod chips or modding services)
  • Lottery Tickets, Sweepstakes Entries and Slot Machines
  • Massage services
  • New merchandise or services from network marketing companies, independent franchisees or distributors, or similar representatives
  • Obscene Material and Child Pornography
  • Offensive Material
  • Pesticides
  • Pictures or images that contain nudity
  • Police Badges and Uniforms
  • Prescription Drugs and Devices
  • Prostitution or ads that offer sex, sexual favours or sexual actions in exchange for money
  • Recalled items
  • Satellite products that violate the Radiocommunication Act
  • Sexual services, including camming
  • Solicitation of other users except by placing an Ad
  • Stocks and Other Securities
  • Stolen Property
  • Tobacco Products
  • Used Cosmetics
  • Weapons and related items (such as firearms, firearm parts and magazines, ammunition, BB and pellet guns, tear gas, stun guns, switchblade knives, and martial arts weapons)

Can I post my Ad on multiple FreeBuyFreeSell sites?

FreeBuyFreeSell offers free local classifieds. As such, you should only post your Ad on the FreeBuyFreeSell site that's nearest to you or the product or service you're offering. If you post in a city far from the product or service you're offering (for example, outside your province), your Ads will be removed.

People that are willing to travel will search other FreeBuyFreeSell sites to find your Ad.

How many Ads can I post on FreeBuyFreeSell?

You can post up to 100 unique Ads on FreeBuyFreeSell every day. Unique means that the Ads are substantially different from each other.

Please do not post the same Ad over and over again. Duplicate ads or ads that are too similar to an existing ad will be removed, and repeat offenders will be blocked from posting on FreeBuyFreeSell.

What type of jobs are not allowed on FreeBuyFreeSell?

The following types of Job ads are prohibited on the site:

* Multi-level marketing jobs where recruitment of other members is part of the compensation
* Pyramid schemes or jobs that require upfront or periodic payments
* Jobs that pay only commissions, unless the Ad makes it clear that the sole source of compensation would be commission and clearly describes the product or service that would be sold
* Jobs that require recruitment of other members, distributors or agents
* Jobs that involve sexual activities
* Ads that are not clear regarding what type of work would be required

Can I link to my web site in my Ad?

You can include a web site address by including a URL in the description of an Ad if you would like to:

* Link to additional product information
* Link to a page with more pictures
* Link to a page with an alternate contact method

Please note that such links will not be clickable.

If you want to include a clickable link to a web site address, for example if you would like to get more traffic to your web site, then the address must be entered in the paid "Website URL" field when you post the Ad. Note that your Ad must still be useful and serve a purpose other than to direct more traffic to your web site. Your Ad must also comply with all other site policies.

What types of personal Ads are not allowed on FreeBuyFreeSell?

The following types of personal Ads are prohibited on the site:

* Ads that contain any sexual or pornographic content. This includes:
o Nudity in posted images
o Descriptions of a sexual nature
* Ads posted by minors
* Ads that offer sex or sexual activities in exchange for money, products or services. Prostitution is not allowed.
* Ads that contain personally identifiable information such as a phone number or address

What rules apply when posting a pet on FreeBuyFreeSell?

Please respect the following rules when posting a pet on FreeBuyFreeSell:
  • The Animal Pedigree Act makes it a federal offense to sell an animal of a recognized breed as, purebred, registered, or eligible to be registered if it is not.
  • The term "purebred" is a confirmation of genetic background and adherence to breed characteristics, in accordance with the requirements of the Act and the by-laws of the authorized breed association.
  • The term "registered" is confirmation that all the rules of eligibility of the authorized breed association in each country have been met.
  • If an animal of a recognized breed is sold as purebred, registered or eligible to be registered, the seller is obligated to provide a duly transferred certificate of registration to the buyer not later than six months after the sale.
